If your dumplings need to take a dip into some sweet, salty goodness, whip up this quick and easy potsticker dipping sauce. It’s foolproof and accommodating of a bit of variation.
Sweet Soy Dipping Sauce
1/2 c. of soy sauce
1/4 c. of rice wine vinegar
1/4 c. of water
2 tsp. of sugar
1 tsp. of sesame oil
1 tsp. of chili garlic sauce (optional)
1 cl. of garlic, smashed (optional)
slice of ginger (optional)
slivered scallions or cilantro leaves (optional)
Mix soy, vinegar, water, sugar and sesame oil in a small bowl. Add optional chili sauce, garlic or ginger, and scallions or cilantro. Serve.
